Seafood Clerk (Immediate Hire)

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with seafood selections including cutting, cleaning, and preparing seafood to customer specifications.

  • Maintain fish cases to health and safety standards

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Willingness and ability to learn about our products

  • Ability work in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • Ability to work with a flexible schedule including weekends & holidays

  • Ability to perform physical activities including standing for multiple hours and ability to carry and lift weights of up to 50 lbs.

  • Food Handler's License Preferred (not required)



Kitchen Manager

Fjord Fish Market & Catering is hiring for a Kitchen/Catering Manager to run the kitchen of our primary location in Cos Cob (Greenwich), CT. Fjord Fish Market has six markets in CT & NY, specializing in the highest end seafood available on the East Coast. 

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to: 

  • Previous kitchen management is required. 
  • Daily preparation of bulk recipes, prepared foods & take-out. 
  • Weekly fulfillment of kitchen orders for satellite locations. 
  • Coordination of all in-store and off-site catering events. 
  • Maintaining current recipe standards and creating new menu items. 
  • Hiring & training of kitchen staff.

Line Cook/Prep Cook

Location: Cos Cob, CT & Darien, CT 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with seafood selections

  • Prepare catering, takeout and poke bar along with all recipes including meals-to-go, soups, salads and sauces

  • Off-site catering
