Fjord first opened its doors in Greenwich, CT in 1992 and since then has been synonymous with high quality, fresh seafood with an emphasis on traceability in sourcing. Over the past 20 years, we have honed a process of consistently skimming the top of the marketplace to source the best seafood available for our customers. We buy only whole fish and cut every piece by hand (onsite in our Cos Cob location) to ensure that each piece of fish we sell is on par with what our customers expect from Fjord. Our obsession with finding the best fish and cutting it all the old fashioned way allows us to give our customers the same level of fish as is served at the top seafood restaurants in NYC. Hand selecting each fish allows us to be able to communicate the source of every piece of fish we sell.
